At Studio Ula La we offer Level 1 and Level 2 Social Ballroom and Latin group classes In these classes we focus on the seven main social dances: Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz, and Tango. We teach not only the basic steps to Ballroom and Latin dances, but also the correct techniques, so that you receive quality instruction right from the beginning.

• No partner is necessary to take one of our Social Ballroom and Latin group classes.

• Bring a comfortable pair of shoes. If you wish to purchase competition grade shoes or a more comfortable pair of shoes contact us.

• The class is an ongoing class so you may join at anytime.

• There is no need to make an appointment, walk-ins are welcome.

• It's a great compliment to private lessons.

• It can give you a base for a First Dance routine.

LEVEL 1: This class is perfect for beginners with no dance experience in any of the seven dances we teach. Left feet are welcome. In this class we cover two dances a lesson, one Ballroom dance and one Latin dance. Which dances we cover is up to you! The first half of the group class is devoted to learning the basics of the Ballroom dance and getting it to music. The second half of the class is devoted to the Latin dance. By the end of the lesson you will be able to dance the basic steps for both the Ballroom dance and the Latin dance to music. So, get started today.

LEVEL 2: If you have some exposure to the social dances we teach or have been in our Level 1 Social Ballroom and Latin class for 6-8 weeks Level 2 Social Ballroom and Latin is perfect for you. In this class we continue working on Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz, and Tango. This time around however you will receive much more in depth information and guidance. The focus of each class is one of the seven main social dances, and with more time devoted to the dance we explore more patterns, techniques, and leads.
